What we check and what we do not

A face check badge means a reviewer matched a selfie to some photos. It does not prove identity, age or intentions. Yumeet does NOT run criminal background checks.

Meet at the restaurant

Always meet at the restaurant in the room, not at someone's home. Get there and back on your own.

Tell a friend

Share the room name, restaurant and time with someone you trust.

Keep chats in the app

Stay in the room chat until you feel comfortable. Never send money or personal financial details. Be careful with anyone who asks for investments, gifts or loans.

Trust your gut

You can leave a room or a meetup at any time. Block and report anyone who makes you feel unsafe; we review reports.
